Dr. Allan Weisberg is a native New Yorker whose distinguished career in chiropractic, injury
prevention, health education, and human performance spans more than four decades.

After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Queens College, City University of New York,
Dr. Weisberg earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic degrees from Palmer
College of Chiropractic in 1977.

For more than 45 years, Dr. Weisberg has dedicated his professional life to helping people reduce pain, restore functional health, improve physical performance, and prevent injury. As a private practitioner and Certified Injury Prevention Consultant, he has provided care, and guidance, to thousands of patients throughout the New York metropolitan area, while developing practical approaches in corrective spinal health care, ergonomics and injury prevention.

In 1994, Dr. Weisberg expanded his clinical vision by developing Midtown Total Health, an innovative multidisciplinary healthcare practice model in New York City. The practice integrated chiropractic care, physical therapy, non-surgical spinal decompression, and acupuncture to effectively provide a comprehensive approach to the restoration and optimization of neuro-musculoskeletal health.

Throughout his career, Dr. Weisberg has remained focused on a fundamental question:

“How can we identify and reduce the everyday causes of spinal stress—and create practical solutions to effectively treat patients; and how can we reduce and PREVENT this physical stress from progressing into continued loss of functional health and into deeper dis-ease?”

This question and philosophy has led him beyond traditional clinical practice, and into the realm of product innovation and public education..

Today, Dr. Weisberg is developing a new generation of injury-prevention technologies,
including: The HeadRight®. The spinal support pivot-pillow technology, designed to provide dynamic support for the head and cervical spine across multiple sleeping positions and; ‘; The SitRight®, an ergonomic, visual-feedback,  device, utilizing an optical lens positioned above a desktop computer screen, designed to “Train the Brain” in order to help desk top computer users to develop postural awareness by helping them to learn and maintain, a better upright sitting posture.

These innovations reflect Dr. Weisberg’s broader vision of bringing injury prevention into the environments where people spend much of their daily lives - sitting at work, using handheld digital devices, sleeping on non-supportive pillows… all bad habits that lead to dis-ease.

A central focus of his work has been on Forward Head Posture (FHP) and on the growing physical demands placed on the human spine by prolonged computer use, handheld phones, sedentary lifestyles, and inadequate sleeping support. His educational work emphasizes the
importance of understanding how repetitive malposition, and sustained postural stress, can affect the neuro-musculoskeletal system to seriously interfere with biomechanics and neuro-functional health and well-being.

As a published writer, postgraduate lecturer, clinician, and corporate injury-prevention consultant, Dr. Weisberg has been called upon by major organizations, including Wells Fargo, Citibank, Merrill Lynch, American Airlines and Colgate-Palmolive, to provide his expertise in ergonomics, where he developed and provided  injury- specific prevention programs with sustainable approaches to help improve employee health and performance, as well as to lower company insurance costs.

Dr Weisberg continues to share his clinical and professional experience helping thousands of individuals, over the course of almost 50 years. He now extends his purpose to focus on his innovations, in his continued attempt to provide self-improving paths, and practical solutions, for everyone to better support their health, prevent injury, feel better and avoid dis-ease.

His mission remains:

“To help prevent dis-ease and to improve the health and lives for as many people as possible, through care, message, and therapeutic innovation.”– Allan Weisberg, DC
